Songwriter Scholarships
Often times, funds
needed for education are tough to come by, especially when
one is attempting to obtain skills and tools required to
enter art-related professions that are highly competitive.
Many students need and deserve financial assistance.
The Texas Heritage
Music Foundation, a non-profit organization, which is
dedicated to the idea "that telling stories and singing
songs make a difference" receives the donations which
are ear-marked for students of Old No. 9 Workshops. We
certainly invite those interested in supporting songwriting
to contact Kathleen Hudson, PHD., director of the Texas
Heritage Music Foundation for information on their scholarship
program.
The Old No. 9 Music
Series is fortunate to have these three wonderful
benefactors.
IN APPRECIATION
The Old No. 9 Music Series and Texas
Heritage Music Foundation sincerely appreciate:
Grant and Vicki Beal and
Tony
Navarra for their generous support
which has enabled songwriters and
musicians to receive education and realize their dreams.

 Hats Off!
No endeavor the size of Old No 9
Workshops could ever be accomplished without help. These
pictures represent people who give of their time to make
sure "everything runs smoothly." There are others who
help, but whom haven't yet been caught by the camera; we will be
adding their pictures as soon as we get them!
Thanks Girls!!!
Mama "Good feeling in the tummy"
Diane Rolfe prepares meals fit for kings and queens. She gets
occasional help from volunteers like Dana Swain.
